Colour for Living is a British interior design partnership founded in 2021, with studios in Abu Dhabi, UAE & Nairobi, Kenya.
As lifelong lovers of design, we are fascinated by the way colour is experienced in the world and how it affects us all in uniquely personal ways. It has the power to shift a mood, evoke a memory and transform our experience in a space. The relationship between colour, emotion and everyday living lies at the heart of everything we do. We create thoughtful, uplifting interiors that reflect our clients’ personal style; interiors that bring personality, ease and happiness into everyday life.
We have carefully built a network of trusted specialist suppliers and craftsmen. Combined with our extensive experience and professional interior design training, this enables us to provide seamless, end-to-end project management tailored to suit any budget.
Our services
Design Consultancy & Planning
From complete renovations to simple styling updates, we create considered interior design plans for our clients using digital moodboards, samples and a curated range of fabrics, furnishings and custom made soft furnishings from carefully selected international suppliers.
Project Management
We can oversee your project from start to finish, coordinating our trusted trades and suppliers, managing budgets and timelines, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality and attention to detail at every stage.
Floorplans & Renders
We create thoughtful layouts, technical drawings and 3D renders to help guide trades and suppliers and enable you to plan and visualise your space.
Our story
Colour for Living was founded by Laura and Lucy, and brings together a shared passion for interiors, complementary skills and a wealth of professional experience.
With formal training in interior design, and extensive project management experience, they have worked on projects in the UAE, Oman, the UK and Kenya and bring a considered creative eye to every space.
Having worked across different styles, cultures and ways of living, our belief is that the best interiors are those that reflect the people who call them home. Now based in Abu Dhabi, UAE and Nairobi, Kenya, we continue to bring our individual perspectives and shared passion to Colour for Living, creating distinctive, thoughtfully designed homes.
